Tomory Dodge (born December 23, 1974) is an American artist based in Los Angeles, California. Born Jason Tomory Dodge in Denver, CO, 1974 to David C. Dodge and Madeleine Dodge. He began using the name Tomory Dodge while attending graduate school at California Institute of the Arts. ==Education== He attended Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence, RI from 1994 to 1998 where he graduated with a BFA in Painting. While at RISD he attended the school's "European Honors Program" based in Rome, Italy in 1998. After spending time in both Denver, CO and Seattle, WA, he attended graduate school at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) from 2002 to 2004. While there he studied with many of the school's full-time and visiting faculty, including Charles Long, Charles Gaines, Anoka Faruqee, Sam Durant, Russell Crotty, Michael Asher and Martin Kersels, among others. Upon graduating with an MFA in 2004 he was awarded the Joan Mitchell Foundation's MFA grant.
